About Customers

Customers are the people who buy the music downloads from your 1-2-3 music store. Customers are registered automatically when they buy music. You can see a list of customers and track their purchases.

Finding a Customer

Here you can see all the customers who have bought music downloads. You can sort the list by clicking the column titles or click the letters to view the list alphabetically.

To find a customer:

  1. On the start screen, click Find Customer.
  2. You will go to a new screen showing a list of customers. Click Next to see the next page of the list, or click the numbers to jump to specific pages.

Getting There: Start > Customer Management > Find Customer

Viewing a Customer's Purchase History

The purchase history is a record of what each customer has bought so far and when the purchases occurred. This is useful when tracking problems and also for recognizing trends and patterns in buying habits. To view a customer's purchase history:

  1. On the start screen, click Find Customer.
  2. You will go to a new screen showing a list of customers. Click Next to see the next page of the list, or click the numbers to jump to specific pages.
  3. Click Edit. You will go to a new screen showing that customer's purchase history and profile.

Getting There: Start > Customer Management > Find Customer > "Edit"

Removing Customers from the List

You may want to remove inactive customers from the list in other words, "delete" a customer. To remove a customer from the list:

  1. On the start screen, click Find Customer.
  2. You will go to a new screen showing a list of customers. Browse or search to find the customer you want to delete.
  3. Click the trashcan icon to delete the customer.
